Professional classes

The Regional Dance Centre of Ostrobothnia organizes professional morning classes in collaboration with Vaasa City Theatre. The sessions are held on Tuesdays in the Ullakko Hall at the theatre and are open to dance and performance professionals in the region.

The morning classes offer local professionals a chance to explore different dance forms guided by their peers. These classes are also an important part of the centre’s work in fostering networking and collegial exchange. During the 2024–2025 season, a total of 33 classes were held from August to the end of May, with around 200 participants and 20 different instructors. Visiting artists and pedagogues are also warmly welcomed to lead morning classes when possible.
