Through the Regional Dance Centre of Ostrobothnia, you can order performances, workshops, and other dance-based activities for schools, elderly homes, workplaces, events, and various occasions. We offer tailored activities, cultural well-being services, dance education, and high-quality dance art created by professional dance artists and pedagogues.

We offer dance education both in schools and in connection with various events and campaigns. Our professional pedagogues produce versatile content with themes that can also be tailored to the client’s wishes.

In the dance workshops, students get to enjoy the joy of dance and gain diverse experiences related to dance. The aim is to explore the multifaceted expression of contemporary dance and the holistic use of the body. Dance improves coordination, body awareness and control, fosters creativity, and builds the courage to express oneself.

The workshops are adapted to the skill level of the group and are also suitable for participants with disabilities.

Students become familiar with different movement qualities, various types of movements, rhythm and musicality, coordination, and expression through movement. The goal of the workshop is to bring the joy and energy of dance in a fun and accessible way.
